With an emphasis on participation, innovation, clinical quality, and safety, the Australian Digital Health Agency (the Agency) is in charge of managing national digital health services and systems. Our main goal is to responsibly use data and technology to benefit patients, consumers, and the healthcare workers who take care of them.

An excellent opportunity exists at the Australian Digital Health Agency for a suitably skilled IT specialist to manage our business systems and end-user computing.
 

 

Key responsibilities of the role include:

 

About you  

You have experience managing, sustaining, and developing internal and external corporate business systems, particularly as businesses have automated and digitised their internal procedures.

You have used effective proactive and reactive maintenance procedures in globally dispersed end user computing settings and mid-scale enterprise business systems, demonstrating that you are aware of their value.

Additionally, you are knowledgeable about the unique technological requirements of software product companies across the whole lifecycle, from invention to effect evaluation.

 

What the Role Is

The Business Services Section provides the following services with an emphasis on the Agency's corporate/enterprise information technology:

  • Engagement with the business, analysis, systems architecture, and project completion.
  • management of business applications and systems and end-user computing.
  • Administration, service desk, and IT support.
  • Operational management for IT services.

Candidates who are chosen will preferably possess:

  • Strong background in technology and experience in IT services.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, the capacity to collaborate closely with high-level leaders, and the ability to manage relationships both internally and internationally.
  • A cooperative mindset and a capable team player.
The Business Systems Management team works closely with the Branch and the larger Agency to accomplish desired results. 
They are specifically in charge of the business systems and general IT used within the Agency. 
This covers the creation and upkeep of systems as well as the use of technology and service management procedures.

Technologies consist of:

  • Common Office Equipment (Office, Adobe, etc)
  • Common Business Systems (SharePoint, ERP, CRM, HR, Records, ITSM)
  • Tools for the Product Lifecycle (Atlassian Suite, etc)
  • Technology for collaboration (Teams, Telephony, Meeting Room Hardware)
  • Services for Desktop and Mobile (Windows and Apple)
  • Identity and Basic Print/File/Domain Server Administrator (Windows)
