Outdoor swimming pools are managed by the City of Parramatta in Parramatta and Epping. For a 12-month, part-time role as pool duty manager, an excellent opportunity is available.
You will be steadfastly committed to customer service, industry best practices, water safety, and ongoing progress.

As the Pool Duty Manager, you'll be accountable for:
- Contribute both individually and together with other Duty Managers to the smooth functioning of the Council's swimming pools.
- Organize, lead, and manage a team of lifeguards.
- Maintain communication with, oversee, plan, and regulate the public's and hirers' actions within the pool enclosure.
- uphold industry requirements for water quality as well as those set out by the NSW Department of Health.
- Assured excellent customer service, communication, and public relations for all pool users, including successfully addressing client concerns and recommendations.
- Utilize efficient risk management strategies to guarantee the security of employees, swimmers, clients, contractors, and suppliers.
- To guarantee the continued operation of all filtration, recirculation, and chemical dosing equipment, monitor and service it regularly.
- that the area around the pool is kept in consistently high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, maintenance, and security.
- To guarantee the smooth running of the centers, communicate and work together with the employees at the kiosk, the swim school, user groups, and contractors.
Essential capabilities:
- Certificate of current Australian pool lifeguards
- Certificate for Pool Operations
- Current first aid certification from Australia

- 2 years minimum of experience running swimming facilities

What is provided?
7-day rotating schedule with 15-hour shifts in the mornings, afternoons, and on weekends.
We are providing a competitive total compensation range of pro rata of $87,140.38 to $92,077.03 (salary + super).
