By providing clients with information, counsel, and support for activities related to imported food and export regulatory activities, you can join a Federal Government business on a 6-month contract and develop your customer service abilities.

You will ensure that commodities, conveyances, and travelers adhere to Australia's import regulations as a member of the Client Contact Group.

Principal Accountabilities

Customer service representative who answers incoming calls
To meet client expectations, respond to various inquiries, and find information on various issues.
Addressing client requests for product inspection by scheduling staff inspections
Send officers to cover the activity's geographic and inspection dispersion
Assure the accuracy, compliance, and safety of information and client data.

Important selection criterion:

Prior experience in a call center or providing customer service
Communicate in a regulatory context to a variety of people with a strong customer service focus.
Using a combination of software and IT platforms, demonstrate solid computing skills.
Obtain information and decide the best course of action, especially with regard to how to interpret laws and import and export rules.

Requirement:

Must be an Australian Citizen

Prior to commencing, successful candidates will go through background and police checks.
