The Possibility


The National Artificial Intelligence Centre for Australia was established and is hosted by CSIRO as part of the Commonwealth Government's AI Action Plan.

You will be responsible for overseeing ecosystem coordination, strategy, and insights as the Ecosystem Strategy Manager. In addition to identifying possibilities and weaknesses in the Australian AI ecosystem, the job will also involve coordinating projects amongst the AI & Digital Capability Centers. You must have the ability to discover ecosystem possibilities, develop a plan, and coordinate execution among ecosystem entities if you want to succeed. To establish a clear vision, unite and energize the ecosystem, and provide a timely impact, it will be crucial that you have good communication, stakeholder engagement, and operational abilities. Experience with cloud technologies or AI will be highly valued but is not required. Demonstrated success in establishing and implementing channel/ecosystem/partner strategy, and strategic analysis of the ecosystem or market landscape, and these skills will be highly recognized.

Your obligations include:

  • With the goal of increasing AI business adoption and success, lead ecosystem strategy, insights discovery, and ecosystem coordination.
  • To acquire insights, create a strategy, and coordinate the implementation of a plan, encourage participation, communication, and cooperation throughout the AI ecosystem.
  • Encourage internal and external stakeholders with achievements, revelations, and lessons from AI ecosystem projects and collaboration successes, as well as a monthly internal status update to key stakeholders.
  • To strengthen Australia's position as a worldwide AI leader in the commercialization and adoption of AI and to broaden the effect and reach of the National AI Centre, identify new ecosystem partnership opportunities and initiatives.
  • Through proactive insights, cooperation, and actions, National AI Centre may influence the development of its plans and procedures.
  • In order to successfully implement efforts for the AI ecosystem, provide clarity and impact stakeholder commitment.
  • Lead the development of the AI ecosystem report, prospectus, and other published insights, among other planned deliverables.

Location: Sydney, Melbourne, or Canberra are preferred, while additional cities will be taken into consideration

Salary: $117,917-$138,176 plus a maximum superannuation of 15.4%

The specified 3-year term as the tenure


For consideration, you must have the following:

Essential:

  • A strategic and imaginative thinker with the ability to see possibilities, create plans and operationalize execution
  • Shown initiative in the ecosystem/channel strategy that produced the desired results
  • The capacity to identify patterns and insights, and to utilize these to inform strategy and tactics
  • Effective communicator who can cooperate and provide clarity for a variety of stakeholders

Desirable:

  • Prior management of initiatives or operations involving cloud or AI technologies

Eligibility:

  • The chosen candidate must obtain and present a National Police Check or an equivalent.
  • You must be capable of and ready to travel on occasion in order to be considered for this role.

We are looking for a Manager of Ecosystem Engagement to join our team.
