The role

Our Federal Government client has multiple requirements for ICT Project Managers to deliver inflight and upcoming projects. Opportunities exist and are emerging in the following areas: -

System Uplift
Environment products ICT
Property Project ICT
Water Product ICT
PMO ICT
Enterprise Systems

The successful candidate/s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage departmental project(s) delivery following the department's project management methodologies (such as Prince2, Agile, SAFe, and hybrid).
Provide guidance and leadership to a multi-disciplinary project team, 3rd party vendors, and/or other departmental teams to deliver projects.
Undertake project governance, including, but not limited to:

project initiation, transition to BAU, and closure,
scope, schedule, and delivery timeframe management,
reporting and presenting to Senior Executives, Program/Project Boards, and other governance bodies,
budget and financial management and reporting, and
active management of risks and issues.

Provide delivery capability across the broader programs of work as directed by the department and/or the Project Management Office.

Successful management and delivery of ICT projects and/or large corporate ICT transformation programs, with a minimum of 5 years of experience required.
